Excelsior wedding: Jeff + Carmel

Carmel + Jeff's Excelsior wedding was, hands down, one of the most beautiful weddings I've shot this year! Carmel looked like a princess in her beautiful, flowing wedding dress! I always get giddy when I see a full, flowy, dreamy wedding dress like hers. Jeff and Carmel were unique, beautiful, and so in love. Morgan and I had so much fun spending the day with them. They were very close to their families and made them a priority at their wedding which I loved! Their winter wedding was definitely one for the books!

Excelsior Wedding: Ben & Ana

This wedding is super special for me and not because my super cute son was the ring bearer. It was so amazing because my amazing cousin Ben married the love of his life Ana!! 

Normally when I photograph weddings I don’t know the bride and groom during their dating time. But since the groom is my cousin I was lucky enough to watch Ben and Ana’s grow from the beginning.

And right from the start I knew I loved Ana, and I loved how Ana loved Ben. She was funny, personable, driven, artistic, and down to earth. And most importantly....She like actually really liked Ben, which was shocking to me and his sister at first. I remember when we were all on vacation together, Ana saying “Ben is such a grumpy old man **sweet sigh** I just love him so much!” Ben’s sister and I looked at each other and cracked up. I knew then that she was the one for him. 

Their wedding day was elegant and classy, with a touch of surprise. Everyone looked amazing, all of the speeches were incredible, the ring bearer was the most bad ass ring bearer I’ve ever seen, and the dance party was as they say, “Lit” 

So without further adieu here are the photos from their day! (Pay extra attention to Ben’s reaction of him seeing Ana for the first time. I’ve never seen him look so happy!)

Have you heard the big news!?

Happy Monday, what a weekend!! The Eagles win was exciting and all, but what were really excited about is THIS. 

On Friday we announced something NEW and EXCITING that is happening here at LFP in 2018! Our apprenticeship program was dreamt up and designed as a way to create an affordable yet, professional and quality option for brides who cannot afford our top, experienced photographers. The gorgeous girl below, Morgan, will be our first ever apprentice here at LFP. She started out as our intern and has worked her way here! Along with being incredibly talented, she is also super fun, bubbly, outgoing and extremely passionate about serving our LFP couples.

Morgan's calendar is officially open but her dates limited.
